LMHockey Women’s Playing Kit

Revolutionizing Women’s Hockey Apparel: Designed for Real Bodies

At LMHockey, we are proud to introduce a groundbreaking playing kit designed exclusively for women — from the ground up.

Unlike traditional approaches that merely adapt men’s kits with minimal adjustments, our kits are engineered from scratch, fully embracing the diverse and unique shapes of women’s bodies.

The Common Challenge in Women’s Sports Apparel

Women’s sports shirts frequently suffer from significant fit issues. The majority are based on a “one-shape-fits-all” philosophy, assuming a narrow chest and straight torso. In reality, most “women’s” shirts are simply scaled-down versions of men’s designs, completely disregarding the distinct contours and proportions of female athletes.

With over 100 possible bra size combinations, it is unsurprising that this uniform approach leaves many women with ill-fitting, uncomfortable shirts that fail to accommodate their actual body shapes.

Our Innovative Solution: Shirt Size and Chest Size Based on Bra Sizing

To address these longstanding issues, we have completely reimagined sizing for women’s shirts.

Moving beyond generic sizing that ignores variations in chest dimensions, our new range allows women to select both overall shirt size and specific chest size — aligned with standard bra sizing. This ensures a precise, comfortable, and truly woman-centric fit.

Key Benefits for Female Athletes

  • Inclusive Fit for Diverse Bodies: Women can now choose shirts tailored to a wide range of shapes, eliminating the need to compromise on comfort or appearance.

  • No More Compromises on Sizing: Athletes with larger chests will no longer need to upsize for chest room (resulting in excess fabric elsewhere) or downsize and endure tightness.

  • Enhanced Performance: With form-fitting, supportive apparel that moves with the body, players can focus fully on their game without distractions from poor fit.

The first samples of our LMHockey women’s playing shirts are scheduled to arrive at the end of January.

If you are excited about this project and would like to participate—particularly in our testing phase—please reach out via email. We would be delighted to organize a testing session for you and your club.
